Our eye doctors take the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing, and treating potential vision problems.
Dr. Angela Tam graduated from SUNY College of Optometry in New York. After completing a residency in ocular diseases and low vision rehabilitation, she returned to California and spent many years practicing in a busy ophthalmology clinic, treating glaucoma and taking care of pre- and post-operative patients. Angela has also done volunteer work with Hospital de la Familia in Guatemala and Project Homeless Connect in San Francisco. Every September, you will find her running (or walking) at Race For The Cure, a cause near and dear to her family.
Dr Jamie Hancock is a graduate of UC Berkeley School of Optometry.
She served as past President of the San Francisco Optometric Society and practiced here in San Francisco for many years before moving to Southern California where she worked in Ophthalmology. She is Glaucoma certified and comes to us with over 20 years of experience in multiple modalities from boutique Opticals to LASIK centers.
Dr Hancock is excited to return to San Francisco and Through the Hayes Optometry. In her spare time, she enjoys the Symphony, Opera, and weekly hikes with her family.
